I wish I could read this book for the very first time again. C.S. Lewis is a master of creating a beautiful story while weaving in elements of the divine.

Update 8/24: I've re-read this with another child, but this time we all listened on audio. The narrator did a fantastic job! This is one of our family's favorite books and series.

This was always my favorite of the Narnia books I had read and I still enjoyed it. Though, now that I'm older I can really feel the religious overtones.

for me this is the perfect book as the beginning of the other stories about pevensie family. i've watched the movie first and this book explained everything that i've never known before. the plot and the arts was truly amazing. cs lewis still make me—at the end of my teenager—can imagine about his writings so well. can't wait to read the first book, the story of the pevensie family, the story that make me love narnia so much.
