Such a good book! I also loved the ending or sound I say the beginning of all of the other stories.

This was a little different from what I expected. After reading "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe", which is a more childhood wonderland story, this turned out to be a more mild history. It was nice to figure out the origin of Narnia, though!

Be ready to know how narnia was born and how there is a connection between narnia and our world.

I started this last year and got in a slump when reading it with my original intentions of doing a full Chronicles of Narnia reread falling through. I picked it up today and refreshed my memory a little bit before continuing where I left off and I flew through it! I feel like now I really understand the Genesis connection the book obviously represents and I am excited to see how that changes my perspective on the rest of the series as I read The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and some of the others when I was a lot younger and didn’t catch on to the Biblical and Spiritual connections. I love how it is never outrightly said that Aslan is a representative of God but everyone feels an obvious power from Him and a familiarness and comfort to those who follow, so good! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and read more of C.S. Lewis
