I listened to the audiobook and really wanted to like this book but I just couldn’t. The plot of the story is fantastic but I wish they had been more storyline between Addison and Richmond, his death was really early in the book. There was always someone barging or showing up at Addison’s house which was weird. I feel that the book had way too many twists, with the final one being disgusting. I found it hard to believe that Richmond’s children would like Addison at due to her breaking up their parent’s marriage. The sub story regarding the child who had surgery and died seem to be thrown in for now reason. I know I’m in the minority regarding my feelings about this book, but it just wasn’t for me.
