"Reminders of Him" is my third Colleen Hoover book, and for the most part I really liked it, with the southern small town backdrop and summery air. It's a story about redemption, second chances, love and forgiveness. I liked the main characters, felt that their personal struggles and hopes were relatable and tragic, but also felt like the big reveal of "that night" wasn't as fleshed out as I hoped, and Kenna is certainly at fault. Her actions directly resulted in a death (drunk while driving), and while it was certainly a very traumatizing event, it seems unlikely and even callous to dismiss her of the blame (her leaving him and walking home miles after and sleeping? huh?). Despite this, "Reminders of Him" is a story about second chances, and Kenna has a chance to change for the better, to move forward with the hunky bartender who was best friends with her fiance (which was a very dramatic setting, not sure if I liked it that much). 3.5 stars! The real tragedy: her daughter's name was Diem?? After Carpe Diem? DM? (Please do not name children names like these, I know because I was bullied my whole life^^)

Can't lie after all the hype I had a few expectations that were never met..
This book felt a little rushed, the ending was absolutely too rushed.. the way they fell in love with each other was also rushed and unrealistically quick it totally threw me off.. the characters sounded more like teenagers and not grown adults..
This was okay not what I had in mind but okay nonetheless.

This book had me genuinely intrigued from the moment I picked it up to the very end. I’m always a sucker for good endings and I’m so happy they Kenna got her happy ending with Ledger and Diem.

I feel like it’s rare that I cry from a book, but I cried a few times while reading “Reminders of Him”. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who asks for book recommendations.

I don’t even have to words for what a deeply emotional and unique story this was. I couldn’t put this book down. So many stories feel rehashed but this one was beautifully it’s own and had me hooked.

It's important to remember that our mistakes and failures do not define us. That everyone has the capacity to grow and learn from their past, if they choose to do so.

I really liked this book, I give it 3.5 stars only because it was slightly repetitive and dragged at certain points. I loved Kenna though and was rooting for her throughout the story. I’d say it’s worth the read !
