Good to Be Bad
Good Love, Book 3
By: Lili Valente, Lauren Blakely
Narrated by: Shane East, Lili Valente

What could be better than rival bakers? Talk about food, and I am listening! Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente join forces for a funny and romantic romp between Gigi and West. Gigi is the owner of a pie shop and boy do they sound delicious! Just when she thinks life is good, she finds out her one night stand is not only a perfect match for her with his sensual, British accent, but is her competitor in the bake-off she intends to win! Will this dough-lightful couple find their perfect baking time? It's light and funny with steam, all the things I love in a book! Blakely and Valente's collaboration is the perfect sweet and salty mix with a couple that is perfectly suited and a competitor you just love to hate. I laughed and loved right along with the banter and romance.

With Lili Valente and Shane East bringing our couple to life, it was more than enjoyable. Valente is amazing! She falls right into character and makes Gigi alive! And the smooth as silk voice of East had me swooning. Perfect team for this yummy story.

Too Good To Be Bad is the newest collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valenti. These two ladies can sure write a wonderful and fun story while combining it with a lot of dirty-talk and sexy hot times between-the-sheets.
Gigi James recently took over the family pie business and is totally in love with being the new owner of Sweetie Pie’s Pie Shop. Gigi is beautiful, smart, with a pension for board games and loves a bit of kink in the bedroom. Weston/West Byrun has recently moved to the states with his sister to open a tea and sweets shop featuring English tea and traditional English sweet treats. The location of this new endeavor of West’s is right across the street from Gigi’s pie shop. I completely loved this story. I love the writing styles of these two ladies. The between-the-sheets action in this story is so HOT, like 6 flames hot! If you like a dirty-talking British hero then ladies you will not be disappointed. West is amazing with the dirty talk and brings a bit of kink to the bedroom. Did I mention that Weston is British? Oh, ladies West certainly is British and the amazingly hot, sexy, and smooth voice of Shane East brings West to life. I have heard Shane East in multiple audiobooks for multiple authors and am never disappointed. Lili Valenti brings Gigi to life with her very talented narration abilities. These two narrators do an amazing job of bringing this story to life. I am so amazed how narrators can either be “just” a reader/narrator of a story which is quite dull or you can have narrators such as Shane East and Lili Valenti who have the capability of bringing such passion and emotion to life with just their voice. I just love how clearly the story plays in my mind. I can feel the passion and emotion just by listening to these two narrators. I also love that the story is told in dual POV’s.No matter your choice of how you experience this story, ebook, paperback, or audiobook, you will love West and Gigi. These two ladies definitely know how to bring passion, emotion, and super HOT and sexy between-the-sheets action to life. So very very good and HOT! Ladies, a British hero, what else is there left to say except that your ears will experience multiple O’s with Too Good To Be Bad by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valenti. I received an ARC/ALC in exchange for an honest review. *****

A collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is always a winning combination. Good to Be Bad is a delicious good time. This light, low angst, flirty romance will make you smile and your heart flutter...And, you'll probably crave a slice of pie when you're done. (I did)

This book is so cute. Gigi and West are wonderful together. Compatible in so many ways. I love how they connected through board games, rubix cubes and witty banter. Their relationship started out so passionately. When they were pitted against each other in a baking competition, they became rivals. Of course, their connection is too strong to stay away from one another.

Gigi is lovely. I loved her vibrancy and positivity. Her heart is so big and kind. And, West is all kinds of hot. Where do I find a sexy Brit that will provide me with sweets and all the o's?!

If you're looking for a delightful and sweet read that's full of competitive banter, outstanding character chemistry and kinky goodness then I would absolutely recommend Good to Be Bad.

I really struggled with how to rate this book. The story is cute and fun, and had I read it instead of listening, I probably would have enjoyed it more.
Unfortunately, some of the British aspects of the story didn’t sit well with me. Mainly, because they were mixed in with the American and it just became confusing. I understand that an American audience is probably the demographic they are aiming at but in that case, I feel that the hero should have been American or at least grew up there.
I usually love listening to Lili Valente and Shane East but this book just fell flat for me. I think had the narration been a duet narration it would have been more enjoyable. The change from POV and accent was so harsh that it was difficult to focus on the story.
