Rly good revenge story, took out most of the unnecessary things and left us with the angry dude.

Set in the Slow Horses universe but only tangentially involving them, this book gives an origin story for J.K. and tells a sad story of lives wasted in the pursuit of greater goods and personal wealth. Another bleak and dark tale.
