This is a masterclass in high school bully writing. I really hope that Marnye is not so quick to forgive in the next book. The only thing that gets me is the motivation for the bullying seems a bit lame. I don’t buy that they go to such lengths because she’s a scholarship student. I’d like to see a deeper motivation come out in further books.
