I definitely enjoyed this book so much. It was a hefty thicc book but it was so worth it to experience this realm in more detail than just seeing from KOW. I really love Envy and Camilla banter it was just chefs kiss!!! I also loved them tryna out do the other that cracked me up. Kerri really brought the steam with this adult book i loved that! I swear i will read any book this author writes! I also loved seeing the interactions between the brothers that made me smile and giggle because they can be like children. I also loved seeing Emilia being so sweet with Envy it just made me tear up inside. Unfortunately we had to see one character make an appearance that i would have been very happy to never see again. Vittoria is literally the worst i hate her more everytime i see her. Anyway this book really had me shook every twist and turn lol Gluttony book is going to be wild!

Throne of the Fallen follows the Prince of Envy who is trying to save his kingdom from a mistake that he made. When he is tasked with finding Camilla, a talented painter, he finds himself entangled with her and she finds herself pulled into a game that she's not interested in being a part of.
I thought this was a pretty interesting fantasy romance read. I really liked Camilla and the Prince of Envy quite a bit. I thought they worked together so well and I loved how they could both hold their own without each other. I thought that Envy's power was so interesting. I also loved how they were held by the confines of the society they were in at the beginning.
i thought that the fantasy part of the world we ended up in was interesting. I really enjoyed seeing the different realms and meeting more of Envy's brothers. They all have to do with different sins and it's interesting to see how their sins influenced who they were. Kerri Maniscalco also left little clues as to what the next books would be about which I loved.
I would also recommend you finish the Kingdom of the Wicked series if you don't want to be spoiled for the ending of that story.
I thought the plot could have been a lot stronger. I found that the reason for the game they were in was pretty interesting but it was also wrapped up so easily at the end, I wish we had gotten more.
If you are interested in reading this book, I would highly recommend picking it up. I will definitely be reading more when they come out.

After the incredible let down that was Kingdom of the Feared, I was a bit apprehensive to read this book. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. I loved the juxtaposition between the Regency England-esque human realm and the underworld. Where I think the Kingdom trilogy found itself awkwardly straddling between YA and adult, Throne of the Fallen is undoubtedly an adult novel, and suitably spicy to match.

🌶️🌶️ very spicy
It did have a good plot and the s*x scenes were adding to the plot. I just wasn’t ready for how descriptive it was as I didn’t usually read that spice level in books

Throne of the Fallen is the adult fantasy romance debut from Kerri Maniscalco. It’s Prince Envy’s story from the Kingdom of the Wicked world. Along with his romantic lead, Camilla Antonius. This was a fun steamy book that expanded on a fan favorite Prince of Hell’s story and I’m looking forward to the other two Prince’s stories (particularly Pride and Lucia!).
