I picked this up because a giant cat is one of the main characters. I couldn't stay away from that cover.

Pros:
Giant cat and cat poop jokes.
Witty and rebellious protagonist who pushes against the establishment.
The beginnings of an interesting post-apocalyptic world (not fully fleshed out yet - but hints of what's to come and what came before).
Lovely, whimsical, colourful art.

Cons:
Not enough time spent on backstory (again, this might come later; I know it's not realistic to ask for this in the first issue).
The shift from past to present felt very abrupt.

Overall, this was good. It didn't immediately grab me as a "must-read," but I feel like this will become better and more engrossing with more issues, so I'll keep reading.

The story of a girl and her cat.

Of course, the cat poops giant, blue glowing turds.

Not your regular story‰Ы_some good fun and some great art.

Worth reading - off the beaten path.
