Shane Miller and his sleepless dad life stole my heart. And then Willa comes along with her crush she has had on him since she was 12. Uff. All the feels. This book skyrocketed to one of my favorite reads. Unrequited Love + super adorable 6 year old twins thrown into the mix. LOVE THIS BOOK! Runs to read more Kaley Loring books!

Have loved Kayley since I discovered her around Christmastime with A Very Bossy Christmas, continued by A Very Friendly Valentine’s Day, and then The Love Interest. Her new book out next month, Funny Business, is a spin-off of this series so I wanted to catch up and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s super funny, super swoony, and super sexy, just like everything else she writes. She’s my perfect author.

Wowzas!!

Y’all…this is probably one of the best and hottest and sweetest and funniest single dad nanny romance books!! Shane and Willa are just so great together and by themselves, Summer and Lucky are true 5 year olds and woohoo! no ex mama drama!

When I read The Plus Ones, I am blown away with that sassy smart and hilarious banter. And I falls in love with Keaton. So imagine my excitement when I pick Sleeper. I thought I am going to have that hilarious rom com.

Sleeper is not what I expect. Its fall short actually. There is no Keaton hero in Sleeper. Instead Shane is boring. Well he has insomnia and it is still funny listening to his sleeping diary, the joke is far cry from The Plus One. Willa is the funny one. She is nerdy and quickly I discover she is very much bold and fearless. She is also not shy exploring her sexuality. Its just she needs better plot and better hero.

Overall, I do enjoy this book OK. I wish much more from Miss Loring book.

Enjoyable

This was a fun book to read. A brother’s best friend who is also a celebrity crush is a perfect recipe for some escapism. I do with there had been a little more buildup but overall I really liked this book a lot.
