Every Patrick Radden Keefe book I've read is stunning. This one will make you deeply angry, detailing the history of generations of the Sackler family: rewriting the rules on pharmaceutical advertising and deliberately pushing OxyContin on vulnerable populations. It's well worth your time.

Keefe is a brilliant journalist who gets at the heart of complex issues. He tells the infuriating story of Sackler family greed in a compelling manner.

Infuriating portrait of a monstrous family. I am not a big non-fiction person but found this very compelling. And sickening.
