Well...I kinda felt like the title shoulda been 'The Blame Game' because there was plenty of that going around between the Wolves and Savannah at every opportunity, and boy was it frustrating at times.

I couldn’t follow the beginning because things were happening so quickly. I slowed the audio down to 2x (which is just about as slow as I can listen without pulling out my hair) and it still didn’t make a lot of sense. DNF

Great tension between the main characters. Fast paced story and I can’t wait for the next book!

The plot and the whole premis was really good and i enjoyed the action and suspense and how nothing is being rushed or felt forced and i enjoyed the world and getting to know the magic side and all of that was really interesting and engaging and made me continue reading because i would have stopped reading if not for all that.
I do wish they'd given us more information on her family and why they did what they did and if they even did do it etc. But i guess we'll find out next book.

The characters! I reallly did not enjoy (for the most part) they had their moments when i liked them and i understand in a sense why they acted how they did but still the characters on a whole just really bloody pissed me off, the way the main character acted and how biased and stubborn and not in a good way and how she kept doing stupid shit and she didn't have an open mind at all to the other characters which started to annoy me how almost hypocritical she was, she just annoyed me tbh.
The mc male also enjoyed me with his actions and how he didn't seem to think about her feelings and was relaly overbearing and i get he's an alpha but tone it down sometimes man! He was also a little hypocritical and needs to be more open minded which i hope will change in the next book and that they both grow from this and find the answers and get over themselves to be honest.
The other side characters we're alsp so harsh! Like she was freaking defending herself but none of them even remotely looked like they felt bad about her being attacked and blamed her which was ridiculous!!!! That really annoyed me if anything else, i can get over the characters flaws cause I can understand why they are that way and can invision the growth of their characters and all that and didn't hate them completely and could see their redeeming qualities but the fact the side characters in his pack dispised her so much for something she didn't do or have any knowledge about, i get being angry and wary of her but this level was insane! And hating her and treating her how they did because she defended herself against a wolf and killed him to survive was too much and made me so angry, like wtf how is it her fault?!! The shit she did in this book for his pack too!? And they still treated her like shit! I at least thought Sam would have been a bit different and she was kind of but not enough.
I was just so shocked with the way she was treated by the pack members.
I did like her cousin and hope he isn't a bad guy and Zara the half demon seems cool and i hope we get more of her in book 2.
