I need to start reading better books. Wanted to DNF from the moment he met her boobs before her face. Should've.

oh my god THIS WAS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION

literally would not change a single thing in this book oh my god... where do i even start?
i had this book on my tbr for so embarrassingly long and i have no idea why i didn't pick it up earlier because this was EVERYTHING!

quite literally the definition of she falls first but he falls HARDER!!!!!!!!!!!! julian vos......... jesus fucking christ.
the plot was amazing. the attention to detail and the way i never felt bored for even a single second. the town and the characters were so striking and addictive and comforting. i love every single minute of it.

add julian to my never-ending list of book bfs because THIS MAN????? again, i will forever eat up a well-written, complex, layered, obsessed and pathetic fictional man who will quite literally get on his knees and worship the ground of his girl. julian was the definition of obsessed, the way this man was SO PATHETIC FOR HER HAD ME GAGGED. but also, i resonated with julian a liiiiitle too much for my well-being and i loved him and he needs to be protected at all costs. his character was so unbelievably well-written.

HALLIE? I'm obsessed with her!!! she was everything!!!!! she was so addictive and fun to read about. the journey that she went on was so beautiful. i feel like i always carry with me a piece of all the women i read about and i feel like hallie will for sure stay with me for a while. as soon as i read the first chapter, i knew she'd be one of my favourite female leads ever.

the way i feel like I've spent the last 24 hours reading this book non-stop is insane. i felt like i couldn't put it down. it was so well-paced, the angst, the drama UGHHHH SO GOOD!!!!
the life lessons and life advice in this book had me on the verge of crying multiple times. i feel like i read this book at the perfect time and it made me reflect and think about just the right things. this definitely felt like SO much more than just a fun, light-hearted romcom. SO MUCH MORE!
again, i feel like every book i read heals a part of me i didn't know needed healing and this was definitely one of those cases.

this was simply the definition of a fun, heart-warming and comforting book. i could literally feel the warm breeze of a summer evening while reading it and it made my heart so happy. i can already tell this series is gonna be one of my faves and i CANNOT WAIT to start natalie's book and get more of julian and hallie I'M SO READY!!!!!!

3.75 chaos meets order stars

I always like Tessa Bailey books. This one isn't different. I ADORED Julian Vos. His anxiety, his feelings, everything was written so damn well. Hallie was a cool heroine too.

I'm not giving it 4 stars or above for one reason. The third act felt rushed to me. As did the ending. And I always love an epilogue, which this book unfortunately didn't provide. I am totally recommending this book for a light-hearted read though.
