I don't think there was anything wrong with it, but I just couldn't finish it. I kept putting off reading it until I had to face that I did not want to read it.
Ruben's mom is the literal worst human. And the book filled me with anxiety without enough else going on to make that worth it. I just don't think the romantic relationship and a whole lot of other anxiety is enough to fill an entire book. I also don't think it was poorly written, just really not the book for me.

Fun young adult gay romance book.
I really liked this book it showed the struggles of having people control your every move and also dealt with a few serious topics which I wasn’t expecting but just made the book for me more realistic and enjoyable I loved the two povs because I like knowing what everyone is thinking so that was good and I don’t think there is anything wrong with this book in my eyes it was a good read just wasn’t one of my favourites.
