All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
It was hard to choose a quote because there are so many good ones! This book is familiar and comforting -- a true classic. It's definitely the best fantasy book I've ever read. The men are noble, brave, and earnest, while the women are wise, regal, and powerful. The plot is gripping, and even though I know how the book ends, I was still worried for Frodo and Sam. And of course there is the character of Gandalf and all of his wise quotes. I honestly live by some of them.

While Tolkien isn’t the easiest writer to read, I adore the LOTR trilogy. Good versus Evil, a heroes journey, adventure, tragedy, foreign lands…what’s not to love?!

I'm not sure I'll get back to this in 2024 since I started Wheel of Time with Bree. I did rewatch all the movies though!
