I loved the meet cute. Loved the tension and alpha ways of J my only complaint would be some of the more immature drama moments. I got a little scanny of pages when that happened. I was connected to these two, felt their moments of endearments and wanted for them. I flew through it due to these elements. Hot AF moments, angsty filled tension just a bit whiny at moments for me on both characters part. I will be reading Tristan and can't wait to watch him fall...

I couldn’t get done with this book fast enough and not in a good way. This was not great.

Sooooo.....I really enjoyed this book! First time reading this Author and despite all the bad reviews I've seen, I'm glad I decided to read it. Very impressed. I will be reading more of her.

I ate it up. It was so good.
The male MC is an Alpha male but the female MC is also not a pushover. She lets him have it.
There was a lot of back and forth but I love shit like that, it makes it worth it.
“I’m too good for you anyway.”
He glares at me. “Why are you such a fucking bitch?”
“Because you’re a self-centered asshole. Get the hell out!” I scream. I pick up a pillow and throw it at him.
He brushes past me in a rush. “Nobody treats me as bad as you do, Emily!” he yells as he storms toward the door.
“Because you pay them!” I screech. “Good thing you’ve got lots of money, Jameson. You’re going to need it. Nobody would put up with your shit for free.”
Jameson, the male MC is such a lover boy
“I work hard…but I love harder”
I screamed, the cuteness. I love love.
Is it worth a reread?
Definitely.

10% too long and the FMC/MMC were both kind of idiots.

I wanted to like it, but the repetitiveness of what the characters did annoyed me. I don’t care that he sexily smiles every fucking time! And why does she whisper so damn much?! Those two stand out the most. The drama and bullshit between the MCs was beyond exhausting. The characters didn’t live up to how they were when we first met them, sadly.
