I didn't like this book. I don't like the style of writing where the chapter starts in the middle of something and you don't know what's going on. You kind of get into the rhythm of the chapter then the next chapter starts on something else. The writing wasn't easy to follow either. I just found the prose awkward. This is my first Crossroads thriller. Maybe if I had read the others, this one might have been easier to follow but the author should write the books so that each one stands on its own. I got this book free as a review copy.
