Boring and overly wordy in a lot of places, the mid-chapters were the most interesting

That book could easily have been a 100 pages shorter. The repetitiveness of it was tiring, and im not sure the shitton of pseudo-psychiatric conjectures were that useful. That being said, it was interesting.

Read this for my dissertation

"I searched for love and in my struggles made death"

What a chore

No, no and again no. I'm not sure why I borrowed this but I just could not get further than the first few murders. Back story was remotely interesting and then it was just a blow by blow account of a rather poor human with very weird psychological makeup

Outdated, but heavily researched and with a distinct voice. I do wish we had gone it I more of the personal perspective and had been transcribed better but interesting at most points

Whilst I am in awe of Master's ability to be confronted with the Gruesome and heinous crimes of Dennis Nilsen direct from source, his ability to recount them in a way that maintains a connection with the reader is non-existant.

A shame as the book is expertly researched and packed full of, often far too much, facts and information about Nilsen's Life and Crimes.

As a true crime fan I was wholly disappointed with this book and unfortunately found it incredibly tedious to read.
