I bought this book today on a whim, but boy, what a hidden gem. The story follows a prodigy who thinks he has the power to beat up everyone and a boy who's being beaten up as a child. When both of them meet, it is wild. The comic book is fast-paced, with pages of action and more action. The last few pages are remarkable in that they go into detail explaining specific boxing terms for us nonboxers. If you like fighting comics, you should pick this one up.

God I love this, I’m hooked. The art is great and unique.
“Is it fun?” I love the concept of boxing carrying deep meanings of life. And our main character has some trauma? I’m in.

I’m intrigued. Boxing has always been a bit brutish in my opinion, but I guess if you mix in some type of genius I’ll find myself reading it anyway. It’ll be interesting to see if we get backstories in the next volume.
