It was a nice quick read. I do wish we could have gotten more vampire and Chinese lore. The plots also felt rushed. The chemistry between Violet/Carmilla and Athena was not that convincing. Love the dragon towards the end though.

This was so good!! I could live in this word forever. A semi modern retelling of Carmilla with Asian inspired mythology mixed in.
