I liked this one, but a lot of the story felt so predictable. I enjoyed Atlas’ character and how protective he became once he got to know and fall for Elena and how he protected Ivy when he could. The fiancée was a nightmare the whole time, and the FMC just played along or was a doormat.
Also…she was a virgin but their first time didn’t seem like it. The ending felt abrupt, could’ve been more madness at the “castle” but it was still decent. I like the town of Grimstone, it’s cute to do a Halloween series in the town. I’ll pick up the next one she writes.
