Liked: mouth-watering descriptions of food, variety in characters' reasons for coming to the agency. Simple and cozy read.
Not so much: the characters were quite flat and unidimensional. The stories, while nice, were very surface level. The clients' issues were sometimes explored in a too simplistic way to be truly interesting. I'm sad we don't get to see any of the actual detective work!

This read was pretty different from what I expected. I thought it would lean on the side of mystery but it was more slice of life and short stories.
I feel like I would have enjoyed this more if I was a true foodie lol. The food descriptions were beautifully written but unfortunately, I did not find it interesting. It was fun to read the first time but it got repetitive the third chapter in.
I think this could be a great comfort read for those who are very interested in diving into Japanese food.
