I am Five Nights at Freddy's trash. So when this was traded into the used book store that I work at, I was excited. I finally got to it and I loved it.
Granted this wasn't a complete 5 stars. There was spelling errors, minecraft references that I wasn't crazy about, and sometimes it was a tad silly such as the over boasting that Mike would sometimes do.
Other than those minor errors though, this book was amazing. It had that same edge of your seat feel that the original game had, while still finding intricate and original ways to incorporate the lore of the games into the narrative. The first person characterization was what made the stakes feel high. And it was brilliantly done with the incorporation of the screenshots from the game with the time stamps and what was happening echoing the events that happen on those days in the game.
Overall:
I do feel as though this is a must read for any Five Nights at Freddy's fan. I am excited to read on.
