This book is definitely a product of the hunger games/ divergent kinda book trend. However I did really enjoy it. I wouldn’t take this book seriously. It’s an easy and fun read. But not something I’d remember much of in a few months.

I do have to say there are a few TWs that I suggest people be aware of that I was kinda shocked. But I shouldn’t have because it’s based on Greek mythology.

A really great retelling of Ariadne and the Minotaur set in Hollywood-ified Ancient Greece. I found myself invested in the story, loving the plot beats and becoming very attached to the characters. Honestly one of my favorite books right now. If the darker sides of Hollywood turn you off this isn't the read for you, but I think it's great.

Theseus is an interesting character,
I wasn't expecting to like him, I thought he would be a douche all the way through.
Icarus is probably my favorite character,
and arguably has my favorite character arc, especially with the uncertain ending.
. Ariadne is a great main character and her decisions feel real, and so do her emotions.
Everything with the Minotaur just emotionally destroyed me. Their bond felt real and genuine and the ending left me in tears.
