This was SO incredibly long. It became repetitive, and I could really feel all the back and forth travel by the end.
I also wish the battles would’ve had more stakes. We have a pretty big cast of characters, and you’re not going to trick me into buying that either of our MCs aren’t going to survive.
I’m glad the dragons got to actually be in this book, but maybe we have a few too many? I feel like we only got to know a couple of their personalities.
Also wait, that ending? It felt like the story was wrapping up in a pretty satisfying way, but now there’s more? And we’re going where? Siiiigh. Okay, I mean I guess so.
Will I really come back to listen to the MMC declare his devotion to the FMC in slightly different variations of the same words for another 20ish hours? Honestly, maybe. Lol

The first book was good, the was better. I don’t get teary often reading a book. If you can pull tears out of my eyes, you get 5 stars. I enjoyed the found family and the new characters. The world building and plot were right up there with the romance. The book was well paced and the ending set up book three to be something I will definitely read. I did not see that ending coming.
