This series is UNREAL. I have to read some other books before I move onto the 6th and I’m so mad because this set of books has me hooked. I’m so sad to be saying goodbye to Agatha, Sophie, Tedros, the Coven and this whole cast. This one had me crying in some parts. If you love magic and fantasy this series is for you but full warning, it’s 6 books long, the books are long and you won’t be able to put them down!!

Another installment in this series complete! I really enjoyed the second half, it was some of the best plot and writing I've seen during this entire series. The plot reveals and the character development were incredible. However, it took me a really long time to get through the first half of the book, which is partially because I was bored but also because I was busy and never prioritized this book. The theme of past and present was explored well and I enjoyed how many of the characters, particularly Rhian, were given more dimension and shown as being more than purely good or evil.

Wow what a book! I absolutely love all the plot twists.
So many deaths in this book.. lance, DOVEY(noo!), sheriff, RHIAN(shocking) idk why I felt sad for rhiann? Maybe because he’s not as bad as japeth and he could have been turned fully good. Anyways dovey’s death was ofc the most awful but she did it for the true king which was such a nice sacrifice from her.
Omg REAPERRRRRR is king ahahahaha that was so surprising and funny. The gnome world actually looks so cool and peaceful I would want to live there!!
Ok let’s talk about TEDROS. Tedros has had huge character development from book 1 when he was just a silly little immature kid thinking he’s the best cuz he was the kings son. He’s made awful decisions, cowered away many times BUT he is starting to take the lead now so I do feel like he will win peoples hearts and truly earn himself the One True King title.
I hope merlin is still alive
Hope the coven is ok too - Hester is so cool she needs to live forever!
Agatha Agatha Agatha my absolute favourite character from book 1 I love her so much. Agatha has also shown how she has true queen qualities. She doubted herself if she could be a good queen but she proves time and time again how great she is by the way she leads the group every single time! Everyone looks up to Agatha even Tedros!
Agatha is such a strong character she’s loyal to her friends her whole journey from escaping rhians trap to gathering the first years to rescuing Tedros and crew was such a fun journey.
Sophieeeee ok so Sophie has proven to be good. She’s evil but good. She has a good heart now. 99% which is A LOT for her. Funny how Tedros still doubts her lol. I’m scared for Sophie now hope she’s ok ahhhh aggie get to her quick! Sophie had a good plan going back to Camelot but it went wrong.
All the side characters are so entertaining and fun to read their pov.
So many revelations happened that has just been so shocking but makes sense.
Overall I believe despite Rhian stating facts that Tedros can’t lead people and blah blah I think Tedros needs to prove now to everyone but mostly himself that he now can lead EVERYONE.

King Arthur no offence is a bit of a loser idk I just feel like he could have left his REAL HEIR some kind of clearer message but I guess that was the coronation test?
