Yes, as many have said it was a bit of a slow burn, but a great read IMO.  The characters in this story are what kept me turning the pages!. Their back stories are interesting. Such as in life they are broken and flawed which gives them a realistic feel. A woman with two families. She is living a lie, until one husband kills the other, or does he?!?
I was left wanting more, another epilogue? I don’t know another book about Cassie? Just more.
I loved the Spanish sprinkled through out as well. It was fun getting to know the characters and it almost felt like I was inside the book. This book is thought provoking  and will have you questioning your morality and how far you would go to protect your love, your life, and most importantly, yourself. 100% would recommend

Liked the beginning but the book felt super long. Cool plot and I did enjoy reading it but got a bit bored

Very slow book, especially in the beginning. A lot of very descriptive scenes (unnecessarily so in my opinion) and too many similies/metaphors used too frequently. They basically go through every member of Lore's family as a suspect until there's only one left. I didn't find the story Cassie was investigating interesting. Lore has two different families and one of the husbands ends up dead. Why was Cassie so interested?

My Duolingo Spanish helped with the translation of the Spanish phrases throughout the book.

The story was interesting but also lacking something. Maybe I just didn’t care enough about the characters and the slow burn.

Hard to get through-boring and not at all thrilling, even though it’s described as being a thriller of a mystery. I also felt that the characters were kinda cardboardy.

This book absolutely rocked me to my core. It features a woman with two marriages, two husbands, two families. Everything seems fine until one husband kills the other.

The story was gripping from start to finish. I never wanted it to end. I loved the Spanish sprinkled through out as well. It was fun getting to know the characters and it almost felt like I was inside the book. This book will have you questioning your morality and how far you would go to protect your love, your life, and most importantly, yourself. 100% would recommend.
