I was genuinely shocked when I was reading the acknowledgments and saw that this book had an editor. Like actually I'm not even joking. I think this is the most misogynistic and sexist book I've ever read. I am baffled that people can read this and feel even a semblance of enjoyment. I cannot effectively express how God-awful this book is

I am never going to recover from reading this book. I fell in love with Daisy and Julian, had mixed feelings about Christian, found an absolute appreciation for Henry (best side character EVER, you cannot convince me otherwise), and then had all of my feelings twisted, wrenched, and torn to tiny bits before being tossed out a moving car window.

Wow this was SUCH a good book I’m tempted to give it 5 stars! Christian and Daisy absolutely stole my heart. I loved seeing their relationship/Christian’s side of everything. I think this book was perfectly toxic without being outright abusive and it was amazingggg! Major Gossip Girl vibes except instead of school it’s a gang lol. I don’t think I’d change anything about this book and I’m excited to read their next one! I’ll have to suffer through Parks and BJ first but I’ll do it for Daisy <3 The only thing that is keeping this from a 5 star is certain times Christian was so clueless it was painful (but that’s men I guess lmaoooo)

Will I ever recommend this series to someone I care about? Absolutely not. Will I continue to read every book in this series? Absolutely, yes.

If someone described the plot of these books to me, I would consider their taste questionable, but I CANNOT STOP. I won’t be stopped. These books are exactly the fly-on-the-wall drama that I live for.

Also, whoever said they’re a Christian Hemmes apologist for life? Solidarity, sister.
