I love this universe so much!

I am honestly trying to figure out why these are considered contemporary romance novels. I honestly think these are just adult fictions with heavy coming of age themes. I felt that a little with the first book and I feel it even more now. Especially since none of the relationships are anything to really aspire to. I think her brother Julian is more drama than BJ.

I had to read about halfway before I got comfortable with Daisy. I found myself still looking for Magnolia in the beginning, because I truly think she is my favorite. However where Magnolia had me in my fluttery feels, Daisy keeps you extremely grounded. Which is isn’t a bad thing!

I am giving this 4.5 stars, there were just a few things (like the footnotes in Daisy perspective) that kept me from completely lingering in Daisy’ viewpoint, like I did in Magnolia.

SO SO BAD. But addicting. Which is also the premise of the book.

Everyone is so stupid. If 1 person was even just a slightly better communicator, there we be 99% less conflict and miscommunication.

And the conflicts are so dumb. Not even well thoughtout. And soooo repetitive.

They are all so dumb. All of them. Daisy the dumbest one though.
They are in their 20s but still think and act like high schoolers.

All that said, will I still read the next books even though they are probably just as dumb and frustrating? Yes, cause it's entertaining

This is like 5+ stars.

I’ve been reading this through a recent breakup so it hit waaay harder. So many quotes I resonated with. So much emotion I was experiencing in my real life. I felt Daisy’s pain. I’m living it.
This book broke me but honestly I’m happy it did. I think I needed it in a way.

I think in every Daisy pov, I shed a tear or just completely bawled my eyes out. And Christian… poor Christian.

Omg Julian. I have to see what happens next. I’m going to take a little break to mend my little heart lol but these characters, I feel in my soul.

I would say I like the Daisy Haites side of it all over Magnolia Parks but I love the whole group still.

The ending tore me to pieces though.
I wanted Daisy and Christian to end up together so badly. But life happens, and it could be right person wrong time. And Daisy deserves normalcy.

I’m sorry but Daisy Haites 🌼 just doesn’t do it for me. I didn’t buy the relationships and what is with all those footnotes?!!!
