What a first seems like a story about a reporter and the wife of a world renowned pianist becomes so much more. Questions about life, death, and the soul are explored in a beautiful and touching way. It is definitely science fiction but does not feel the way typical science fiction feels. There is a remarkable depth and soul in a short story.
