I must say I found this book frustrating and fascinating at the same time. I found the female character very difficult to believe, Sarah would jump to crazy conclusions and without any real evidence on more than one occasion. I also found her not entirely convincing as a mother either though. If I for one believed I had wrongly identified one of my daughters I would be distraught, but she seems to simply brush it off.

I also thought that the story dragged for most of the book but then sped up far to quickly at the end, and it does appear that the author didn’t really seem to know where the story was going. In my honest opinion it could have been a short story.

As a main male character I found Gus rather weak and pathetic really, there are a few instances during the story where I thought no man would let his wife do that if he didn’t agree.

Overall the story has a very dark and twisted story, the mother believes they have wrongly identified their twins and confirms that the wrong twin died, it is from that point where they move to start over and this really does become the end for them.

To see Sarah’s character fall apart mentally is terrifying and the ending is very sad.

I would recommend this book though as it was overall a very gripping read I had absolutely no idea how it would end.

This is by far my favorite thriller. I can still pick up this book and enjoy every page of it. It's a horror thriller that really goes up in the environment. Love it!

It was a slow book. I’m unsure what to make of it. In a way it was quite good but on the other hand it wasn’t. It was kinda edging onto a ghost story but it didn’t quite make it. It’s all psychological. I’m wasn’t quite so keen on how that was written throughout the story. But the story idea was really good. It just should have been better written.

I was lucky enough to have today off from work. What did I do? I read this book. Definitely a twisty, turny read. Who is to blame? Who did what when? Which parent is worse? Is there truly a haunting involved?

Even when I finished, I'm still not 100% sure what happened... and that is fine with me.
