Book 2 was a huge difference to book 1 and i enjoyed it so much more!!!!

This one has so much more world building. A Ton of action. We have so many upd and down and it kept my interest piqued the whole time. I love that we get much more magic in this book too. We are slowly being shown the magic the wolrd holds.

The romance in this book is a sloooooow burn. I mean nothing happens until 50% and even then we get crumbs 😅. The author did an amazing job and teasing us. But the second half of the book we are rewarded. The love story is so heart wrenching and I just love the way Valen and Elise find eachother again. The spice 🌶️ is definitely mild to medium with only a couple open door scene.

The found family in this is also an amazing side touch. Halvar and Tor, siv and Mattis, Caspar and Stieg, Brant and Kari, Calista, Ari. So many favorites and all so unique. Ugh i love them all.

Okay well the ending of this book doesn’t have a crazy cliffhanger however the discoveries we make (Lumpy) were like crazy 🤯. We do get some hints and I wasn’t completely shocked but shocked enough in the end. The vision Calista has!!!! Ah so many things left unfinished. But also so many good things happening.

Cannot wait to jump straight to next book and wrap uo this story!
