Didn't continue reading beyond the lovely foreword by Victoria Cass, but I'm counting it as read. The foreword starts "Lafcadio Hearn was a thief of myth" and that about sums it up!

Μια από τις πιο ενδιαφέρουσες παραμυθένιες συλλογές. Μην περιμένετε φτηνό τρόμο και συνηθισμένες υπερβολές. Αυτά είναι για τα φτηνά βιβλία ‘’φαντασίας’’ του σήμερα, τους δολοφόνους της Λογοτεχνίας. Ο Hearn δημιουργεί μια ποιητική, στοιχειωμένη ατμόσφαιρα αντάξια του πλούτου και του μυστηρίου της όμορφης, μαγευτικής Κίνας.
