I read this one in one sitting, literally, and I absolutely loved it! This is one of my favorites in the comics series so far. I am team "Bangel," as many of my friends and fellow fans know, so I was very happy to see Angel make an appearance. Also, I thought the Twilight satire was hilarious! I must admit that I loved that series at the beginning, but grew to gradually hate it more as it went on. Breaking Dawn = Blah! And Buffy is so right when she says her vampire story is oh ever so much better! But anyway, again, even more amazing artwork, and I hope Georges Jeanty is at Dragoncon yet again this year, so I can get him to sign more comics. He always impresses me, and I enjoy hearing his thoughts about the Buffyverse. I'm growing to love it more and more as I go on, and yes, I'm aware that I am a mid-thirties fangirl and proud of it. Stay tuned for more Buffy reviews! These comics are making their way into my creative fanfiction work and, hopefully, into my academic work too. I can't wait to see where all of this goes. I just wished I had watched Buffy during high school and college when it was first a thing because I think I needed these characters in my life at that point.

umm okay? So this I kind of remembered. But I couldn't remember why this made sense. So apparently I was remembering correctly. There are moments here which are nice. And cool. But somewhere in there we remember who Buffy is and she does to. And apparently so does Xander. So it ends well, at least its first ending. The second ending I didn't remember. 3.5 of 5.

What?
No, seriously.
What?
Aside from the fact that I have almost no idea what actually happened, plot-wise, this was probably the worst "episode" of Buffy Season Eight yet (and I remember when I thought Season Seven was lame). But by all means, it you want to enjoy 11 pages of Buffy and Angel having sex in space, be my guest.
Yes, I said in space. And without a spaceship.
God.
No, seriously.

Somehow, I finally arrived at the last episode of Season Eight? I didn't always like the journey but I appreciated where the Whedonverse ended up. This installment was totally shocking (hello, prolonged sex scene, for one) and there are some old familiar faces that really brought things home for me. Buffy & the slayer army have been so far out in left field for so long this "season." It was really comforting for me to feel like we were back to the core of what Buffy is, who she is, what matters to her and why she's here. It's normal for Buffy to be a "secondary character" with all the subplots that this season has been through, but this episode is purely about her.

Meh. I ordered volume 7 before I'd reason volume 6. I'm over this. I was slightly intrigued by the appearance at the end, but not enough to read more of this. I'm done.

I maybe shouldn't have expected much, seeing as I haven't been loving these for a while. But - sigh. I felt like a gawky teenager reading through the super unsexy 13-page sex scene. This only avoided the one-star rating out of sheer readability. I'm happy for this to finish up next issue so I can just be done with it.
