I definitely was expecting more development between our monster and our beast in volume one. At this point I don’t see what’s so beastly about our human, he enjoys sex with random people regularly…that’s it at this point

Well that was weird. It's a case of thinking this is one thing and it being totally different and sometimes that's okay, but this. This was not for me. Starts with rape - that isn't a rape - but is a rape- but isn't. The character either throws light to a horrible situation or yet did want it. So confused. He gives off super sketch vibes, but at least is honest (mostly) about it. This one in general just didn't work for me. It felt icky the whole time and I feel horrible for the Stockholm syndrome-esque relationship - yet even that isn't right because it's flipped. Again this was confusing and made me feel icky. I came for the fun lgbtqia+ monster romance and left with...confusion mostly.

It’s really fun and fast to read. It’s cute but funny but also serious. I definitely have mixed feelings on Liam but I love Covu 


It’s not what your expecting and I’m not sure how it will go but I hope the monster gets through to the beast.

i wanted to like this but, ultimately, liam (the main character) was too unappealing. sometimes i like icky main characters, but not this time.
