I liked this a lot when I was younger. Stoicism is less appealing as I get older though.

I hoped it would be quotes about Stoicism like I've read online but it wasn't. It'll float some people's boats, just not mine.

This was really a challenging reading for me. I'm still blowed by the amount of knowledge and wisdom I can get from a book. It's amazing that I can read the thoughts of a wise roman emperor from centuries ago. I'm sure I could not understand all their reflections, but I loved his thoughts on death, and how beautiful and natural it is.
