Oof, that was a long time to spend with such an unpleasant person.

This book has so much potential, and after debating on DFN-ing at 33%, I decided to follow through and finish the book because there were just enough enjoyable/relatable one-liners – like the few amazing finds after endlessly sifting through a thrift store’s goods.

I agree with the other reviewers who said this book was in the wrong format; that its plotless, non-direction and penchant for lists would have been better suited in a collection of essays. And also, I can get down with self-depreciating humor with the best of them, but there needs to be a balance. When the entire book is self-pitying it loses its comical aspect and becomes pathetic.

I have confused feelings about this book.
It has a lot of very interesting parts, entertaining with little humor.
The title, made me expect an entirely different story from what actually.
