This series just gets more and more weird, in a totally random way. I can't imagine how all of it is going to be explained in the end, but it's intrigued me enough that I've got to find out what happens. I'm really into the characters at this point, and multiple storylines keep things fresh and interesting. This particular book has a bit less action than the others in the series thus far, but it still moves pretty quickly. This is a great series to recommend to younger teens who like way-out-there sci-fi and fantasy.

I am rating it 4 stars, though it is possible for it to be 5 stars. However, after I finish the series, I may re-rate the books. This book took me the longest, but it was not due to any lack of action or interest. After reading the first 3 books and jumping into this one, I managed to get halfway before needing a break. But finally, I picked it up and finished it. It contained so much action and twists and turns in it. This series is only getting better as it goes. Ready to read the next one in the series.

I was kind of hoping this was the last book, you'd think he'd run out of ideas, but the series is still really good.

A lot happened in this book. It did begin to stress me out in not a good way at one point. Thats why I removed a bit of a star but other then that it was incredible. The story was gripping , the mystery unraveling it ended with a really hooking chapter so I have to read the next book immediately. I love finding out more about this world and I am just so attached to the characters.

So, I have just read two books in the Gone series within a week.

I may need to take a short break before starting "Fear"

Plague was another addicting read but for some reason I didn't like it quite as much as the others. It does still deserve four stars though.

My qualms about this book may surround the characters, most noticeably my growing dislike of characters who were among my favorites in book one.

There are still two more entries in the "Gone" series, so I'm hopeful that there is time for me to grow to like those characters again.
