This is the seventh book I have read by Elle Nicoll in the Men Series and she honestly gets better with every single book she writes.
Just to say that the Men Series can all be read as stand-alones but it’s more enjoyable if you read them in order as they are all interconnected.
Time With Mr Silver is the seventh book in the series and it all about Rose Jacobs and Dax Silver (silver fox).
Rose we have met before as she is Harley’s younger sister and we met Harley in the brilliant book Trapped with Mr Walker. Rose is a little lost, she is holding so much guilt from her father dying as well as her brother being seriously injured. She’s just got out of a bad relationship and doesn’t know where she is going in life. She is then given the opportunity to go work in England under Dax Silver. She is reluctant at first but she goes to try and het over everything she has lost and to find Rose again.
My gorgeous and tortured Dax Silver. He is definitely a new favourite book boyfriend. He is the alpha male, he wants to protect eveyone he loves as he again has lost people close to him. He is honestly the ultimate bad boy with the biggest heart.
Sparks fly between Rose and Dax and it doesn’t take long for them to fall in love but their road to happiness is definitely not smooth.
Elle Nicoll definitely has a way with words and with gripping you by the throat (not only in pleasure) but with all the emotion as well. I say this every time I read a book in this series but Elle’s writing improves with every book. You fall in love with the characters and you give a little of yourself to them and want them to be so happy.
I also love that we get to see some of the other characters make an appearance even if it was a brief mention or part of a chapter.
You got to see both characters grow not only together but as individuals. This book is not only a love story but it’s a book of self-love and growth. It’s about finding yourself and being happy and finding your own self worth.
There are some tough themes in this book. With mention of drugs, sexual assault, violence so make sure you check the trigger warnings before reading.
