Delivers what it promises – loads of smut and beach sex.

This novella is hot and spicy af. It’s short but delivers an engaging story. I really liked Alex and Elijah, I found myself rooting for them to get together from the jump. I feel like this would’ve benefitted from being a little longer. I wanted the secrecy and tension to continue longer and needed a more drawn out resolution with Alex’s father. Aside from that I really enjoyed this novella!

Kayla Grosse does it again, ladies and gents... Just another fun, spicy read from the Queen of Spice, herself. I will never not be SO grateful to the random TikTok I saw a few years ago that introduced me to Kayla's books! She is able to strike such a great balance of heart and care for characters with the funnest time you'll ever have reading a spicy novella!

A question: who else also makes the drink at the beginning of the book?? Because it's a MUST at this point. I started doing it with the Brother Puckers series and I'm hooked now! They're so yummy and absolutely elevate my reading experience exponentially. The playlists are another really great add-in, too. If you're not already on the "making a drink and listening to the book playlist for your current read" team, you might consider hopping on over! We have a good time 😌

Seriously, I have to share how much I loved Alex & Elijah!! Kayla's out here writing some of my favorite couples and these two are no different. Without spoiling the wonderful story Kayla has woven, we are given a emotionally-supportive, adventurous, steamy romance that makes for the perfect weekend (or really whenever) read! Kayla is absolutely an auto-buy author after this read and I'm not mad about it one bit. She's single-handedly introducing me to my new favorite kinks and she deserves a badge of honor for the service she's doing to educate us 🫡
