🎧 Audiobook 🎧

Not the best. It’s just 🌽 with age gap. A lot of the spice just wasn’t my thing but I needed something I could take my brain out to whilst baking until early hours of the morning for a friends bday gift, so I picked this audiobook to keep me company lol

I felt the build up could have been longer, building the tension and forbidden turmoil between both characters a lot more, but it was basically smack bang into stuff too quickly for me (though this all happens over a weekend so I get that they were short for time lol). I would have much preferred it if they had at least a week or a few weeks together so it was more of a slow progression into the relationship. However because of it just being a weekend, I found the ending extremely unrealistic (in terms of the L word… and how fast things had also gone in the epilogue).

My positives are that it’s an easy, quick read/listen. I also like Grayson Owens as the MMC narrator (he also did Whirlwind) but sadly don’t think this author is for me, though there are a couple of her cowboy romances I’d like to give a go. However if you like smut fests and don’t take things too seriously then you might like this.
