This is a hot and spicy age-gap novella that moves fast. Alex and Elijah meet by chance when they are double booked at a lake house - Alex's parents' second home and they come to find that Elijah is Alex's dad's best friend. The two have instant chemistry and the two come to terms with a weekend-long relationship, no strings attached. While this book is well-written and super hot, I struggled a bit with the characters, finding them a bit flat and I fought with the reality of some of their decisions (see the terrace or beach scenes). Overall, a cute story, but harder for me to get into.

Love the plus size representation! Also the fact our FMC is a redhead! I loved Elijah and Alex! A great short and spicy book!
