This is... fine. A fun little good time. I think the dual POVs kind of meld into each other until they both just kind of sound exactly the same.
Kayla Grosse hasn't let me down yet! She is one of my favorite authors, especially with how she writes plus size females & how their men love and worship them!
Alex & Elijah are such a fun, feel good, & HOT story! A little bit of age gap (15 years), a little forced proximity, & a touch of a br33ding kink gives ya a scorching hot time! Elijah is yummy, and so frikkin sweet as well as filthy! Love to read it!!
As with all of her other novellas, this one is short, but packed full of heat, emotions, and love!!

Some of the lines are really a lot. It’s an entertaining, over the top read. The introduction says some version of the fact that it prioritizes spice over plot, and there was probably more plot than I expected given that. The resolution comes very quickly. No big miscommunication or anything - this utilizes the set timeline trope. Nothing gets super deep, but it’s also short.
