Bite sized snack! I mean the novella as a whole. It was a quick read, light and fun. And it actually wasn’t as spicy as I’d hoped. Dont get me wrong, lots of scenes, but I felt something was lacking though I can’t think what.
Nothing bite sized about the MMCs. I vibed with Alex. I aspire to be her. To be confident, fun, flirty. Unashamed to go after what she wants. And Elijah - though I dont think of 45 as “silver fox” age - that’s a me thing and my age - I do appreciate what he represents, the sophisticated, successful, sexy, seemingly unattainable older man. And agreed - salt and pepper beard is hot. That he loves Alex’s curves and how she is able to bring him out of himself so he’s not only Mr. Serious.
This book was exactly what I was looking for - a palate cleanser and quick read.
