I’ve been loving the *Cowboys of Night Hawk* series, so I picked up *Silver Foxed* after it was recommended in a readathon I’m participating in. The author’s note at the beginning made it clear this would be a smutty novella, which I was here for—but I found myself wanting more spice. It has tropes I love (age gap, dad’s best friend), and while it was a cute, quick read with great flirting and a sweet HEA, the spice didn’t hit until late in the audiobook. Overall, a 3 out of 5 for me.
