Well I can say this book was well and truly hot and spicy.
This book follows Alex and Elijah. Alex goes to stay at her family’s beach house to get away and relax after a crap couple of months and a break of from her fiance, unknowingly her father also gave the beach house to he’s best friend and employee Elijah for the same weekend. Over the weekend the two people take part in roleplaying they are married and getting down and dirty.
Alex and Elijah end up falling in love , with him freaking out at the age gap and the fact she’s his best friends daughter.
This book is super spicy with kinks and smut everywhere. It had me blushing in the best kind of way. It’s a quick short read and very easy to enjoy. This book was a 5 stars from me.

I loved this. Kayla Grosse has yet to disappoint! She is brilliant with spicy novellas. This one was so sweet. It was very spicy, but sweet. Elijah is so perfect—an older man, lovely and caring but dirty and dominant. PERFECT MAN. Alex was also a very great character, and I am very picky when it comes to plus-size representation. One of the many things I liked in this book is that no one feels bad about being plus-sized. It's not even mentioned, really, other than to describe her curves. Alex was also a very sweet character, a sassy girl who knows what she wants and goes for it. Of course, there has to be a little turmoil. He is her dad's friend, and there is an age gap. It's Hot! I am so happy to have read this. As always, I am looking forward to this author's next book. Read this if you want a fun, sweet, and very spicy romance, and it, of course, has an HEA.

- Spice was out of this world, Elijah’s dirty talk was wonderful.
- The tension between these two was so well done. I loved their connection as well.
Things I didn’t like:
I didn’t understand Alex’s reasoning for ending things at all. Felt necessary for the story and not much else.
