It had all the right things but it didnt hit the spot for me. Maybe im in a mood? I dunno, it was a satisfying story but it took a while to get into and while to get out off.

It’s age/gap, dad’s best friend, forced proximity goodness.

This was a short fast steamy read! Alex is staying at her family beach vacation home for a bit to get out of her funk of calling off her engagement. Elijah is her father's very good friend and VP of the company. Somehow her parents offer the home to both of them for the weekend and Elijah walks in on her in a very undressed state. 🤭 The attraction between them is immediate and they both have to remind themselves of the boundaries lol. But Alex decides she's open to having a weekend summer fling with this older hot man! And when I say fling...I really mean they were spicing it up! 🥵 I really liked that even though this was a very spicy story, they both had heart to heart conversations and got to know each other. While saying goodbye was sad, I liked that they had they time apart instead of jumping into something so quickly. I think that really tied this story to more than just a physical attraction between each other.
