This book was the absolute best! It was everything I wanted and more. This book is a short novella packed full with spice so know that going in!
Alex decides to stay a weekend at her parents' lake house to relax. Elijah is forced by his boss/good friend to take a weekend off from work as he is a workaholic. His boss offers up his lake house to have a relaxing weekend not knowing his wife already gave the okay for their daughter to be staying there. So when Elijah arrives Alex is already there. After an awkward first meeting Alex convinces Elijah to stay as the house is big enough for them both to stay. They both feel the attraction but are hesitant to act on it as they have a 15 year age gap and she is his best friends daughter. That didn't stop them for long as they had a talk and as they are both consenting adults why should they not.
I absolutely loved every second of this book! Alex and Elijah's interactions were so well written, I loved their first meeting so much! Alex is so confidant in who she is and what she wants I so loved that in her. The steamy scenes were so good especial the beach and shower scene. Very spicy read for sure!
If you are in the mood for a smutty, age gap, dad's best friend, plus size female main character this book is for you!

Umf... This was even better than I was hoping, and that is saying a lot because I ADORE Kayla Grosse's writing. FMC was fabulous, and so sex-positive and forward, but still quite realistic, and the MMC was perfection- a mix of human flaws and god-like perfection that maakes a gal weak in the knees! I forced myself to stop reading half waay through and save the next half for the next day, just because I wasnt ready for it to end, otherwise I would have devoured this whole- it is YUMMY <3

This was such an amazing read. I loved how confident Alex was and how she wasn't afraid to tell Elijah what she wanted. She was a great character, and I was thrilled that she found what she was looking for in Elijah. I also enjoyed Elijah's dirty talk. I had a really fun time reading it.
Owwwie! "Silver Foxed" by Kayla Grosse was a hot quick shot. An accidental double booking turned into a steamy weekend playing house, and Kayla did a great job balancing plot with plenty of spice. And Elijah... swoon. This one is a must-read for anyone craving a fiery, fast-paced romance!

It's safe to say that Kayla Grosse can write just any trope and I'll devour it. Silver Foxed is obviously no exception. I've loved all the smutty novellas she's put out in the last couple months. They're always hot, charming, and funny. The pacing in this was so good; it gave the characters time to fall in love in such a short time and felt completely reasonable.

Another stellar story from Kayla Grosse. The characters were so relatable and lovable right out of the gate. This book was sexy and spicy. It played right on the edge of will we get caught? And maybe we want to get caught... The insta lust was intoxicating and the confident plus size FMC even more so. A literal Silver Fox age gap with a curvy confident FMC where they both fall hard, but life gets in the way. And that beach scene, yes please!

Kayla Grosse is an author I discovered when I decided to read more books with midsize or plus-size characters, characters who are basically more like me. After reading almost every book she’s published, I crossed my fingers pretty hard for the chance to get an ARC of her new book, Silver Foxed, and boy, I must have crossed them really hard, because I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book.
As usual with Kayla Grosse’s stories, I really loved this novella. Age-Gap Romance books are not the ones I tend to read first—not that I have anything against them, but there are so many books out there with other tropes that I prefer that it’s impossible to have time to read them all. So, when authors like Kayla Grosse write books with a wide range of different tropes, it’s ideal for us readers.
Alex and Elijah are perfect together. They are two pieces of the same puzzle, perfectly matched by the similarities and differences that bring them together. The chemistry between them is undeniable from the moment they meet at Alex’s parents’ lakeside mansion. Even though their story seems ‘forbidden’ because Elijah and Alex’s father are friends—and not because of their age difference, as they are both consenting adults—it’s hard to imagine them not being together.
Speaking of the friendship between Elijah and Alex’s father, for those worried about Elijah knowing Alex since she was a child, Kayla Grosse has structured her story in such a way that there’s no unhealthy feelings coming out of their relationship (but I won’t say so as not to spoil anything 😉).
I highly recommend this novella—and all Kayla Grosse’s other books.
