Oh i loved this one, Nerd/Jock is one of my kryptonites and this delivered for me. They truly lifted eachother up and Vincent being able to relate football and calc for Cobey was everything. Not only was this a beautiful love story, but it also showed how we all learn differently.

Also, THANK YOU NATE.

Compared to the first five books in the series, this one was bo-oooring.
On the plus side, it was sweet, it was cruisy without any issues, the MC's were lovable enough. I was kinda over angsty stories and stories where the MC's doubt each other's feelings for more than half the book.
BUT, compared to the first five books, where was the smut? The spice? The long, detailed sex scenes?
This is the first book I've read by this author, so I'm not sure if her spice is normally this tame, but I was kinda missing the copious amounts of cock and balls and pink, puckered assholes sucking said cocks into them. That sentence there was smuttier than anything in this book.
I'd honestly have loved it a lot more had there been more story development.

this was… nice. not groundbreaking, not life-changing, but definitely nice. like a warm cup of tea when you’re not in the mood for anything too fancy. vincent? absolute sweetheart. i want to wrap him in a blanket and make sure he knows how precious he is. cobey? bro is literally too good to be true—hot, rich, linebacker, funny, sweet, patient… honestly, is there a flaw? because i didn’t see one.

the story itself? no big twists, no heavy drama, and definitely no angst. just your classic mm college romance with a side of steamy fluff. it’s fast, cheesy, sweet, and definitely spicy. like, there’s not much plot here, but who’s looking for that when the vibes are this easygoing?

also, shoutout to nick j. russo, the audiobook narrator. his narration slapped. he made the whole thing even more fun and was probably my favorite part of the experience. so, yeah, this isn’t gonna blow your mind or anything, but if you need something quick and light to reset your brain after a heavy book, this will do the trick. a solid, pleasant 3 stars.
