Even though this book was fiction it was so good, I loved the idea of being behind the scenes on how the dresses for the queen were made, and seeing the reactions of the seamstresses when they saw the creations on TV.
This book was funny, charming and captivating all in one. I love the women she created and how it all tied in together in this one book.
I do love historical fiction, it might be in my top 5 favourite genre.
I love how it went to the future and the past those are my favourite type of books.

The simplistic writing was so bland, that even one chapter in with all three characters, I couldn’t stand it. DNF.

I enjoyed the book thoroughly. I love this part of history, and have always been one of those people fascinated with the royals. I thought it was well written overall, but I do wish the characters had a bit more depth. That is to say, I thought Miriam, Heather, and Ann were compelling characters, I’m just not sure if they were fleshed out as much as I’d like. The characterizations felt very simplistic at times - almost like you’d find in a YA novel.

A lovely venture back into historical fiction for me, as I haven't found one I loved recently. I really enjoyed each story line of Ann, Miriam, and Heather. I especially loved all of the details about the history of the Queen's wedding and the wedding dress, interlaced with mostly facts and historically accurate details. After just finishing the Crown series, this was a great way to prolong that high.
